Referring to our conversation at Conduit Street on Thursday last. We are arranging to send a standard 40/50 HP. radiator and bonnet for the EAC. dummy chassis to Barkers.

With regard to the suggestion that the car should then be taken to Lillie Hall and proper EAC.11. radiator and bonnet fitted for CJ. to examine - we wish to make the following suggestion.

If we take it to Lillie Hall we shall raise suspicion with a number of people, and by the fact of taking it away from Barkers to Lillie Hall and then altering the radiator and bonnet, will only increase the suspicion.

Our suggestion is that when the body leaves Barkers it should be sent direct to the Expl: Dept: at Derby and should be fitted on to a correct EAC.11 chassis which we shall have ready by that time. It could then perhaps be arranged for the car to be approved by R.{Sir Henry Royce} before CJ. and BJ. examined it. They could either examine it at WW. or any place to suit themselves.

We think it is rather a waste of time to have two bites at a dummy chassis when a complete chassis is ready. The complete car will shew the seating, steering and pedal positions, and give a much better impression than a mock-up.
