Dear Johnson, Many thanks for your lines of the 11th inst., and I was very pleased to hear that as soon as our gauge comes to hand, you will have it tested by your people at Derby. As far as I can judge, this simple and effective gauge is the very kind of appliance which should appeal to the "world's best car", as in itself this magnetic gauge is also the best in the world. As our own circulars are not yet to hand from the printers, I enclose you one of our American friends', from which you will be able to see the various applications. With kind regards, Believe me, Yours sincerely, [Signature] Frederick R.{Sir Henry Royce} Simms Enc. | ||
