Engineer} re: CHASSIS B.9.DK - Mr. Van der Hauzeur --------------------------------- Mileage 26089 Kms. The above car has to-day been sent to us for attention to the front bumper owing to the two top spring plates having broken across the outer elongated hole on the off-side, through which the securing clip passes, similar to that which happened to chassis B.196.DG (DAUBREE) and explained in our memo Sr/VA10/ET.30.5.38. Although the end of the bumper did not foul the ground, it was apparently very near to it. We are fitting a latest type bumper, 2 of which we have in stock and which have re-inforcing plates. The guarantee of this car expired on the 17th. May 1938. Will Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy} please let us know, taking the above into consideration, if we are to make any charge to the owner. With reference to BY/Mtn.11/N. 20.6.38 we shall be pleased to know when we may expect a few sets of the re-inforcing plates and clips. Sr/VA. | ||
