BENSPORT GEARBOX.

X4553.

On the 25HP. synchro mesh box, in coming into 1st. speed one picks up the reverse wheel.

We understand that there is a slight noise, but it is considered of no importance.

When it comes to the Bensport however, where the 1st. speed may be used more frequently and more energetically, it might be a disadvantage to have this feature.

We should be much obliged if you could tell us whether the Alfa reverse is arranged like this.

We suggest also that it would be a good thing to try a 25HP. somewhat abusively, that is, changing into 1st. at somewhere about the maximum speed of the car on 1st. speed, and see whether there is any real difficulty presented.
