Trubo Transmitters Ltd., 4C A.{Mr Adams} Cambridge Road, SOUTHPORT, Lancashire. Attention of Mr. J.S.H. Moore. Dear Sirs, Thank you for your letter of 1st instant. We enclose prints of all the parts concerned in the fitting of your Turbo Transmitter to our Bentley car. These comprise:- DR.2569 - Lucas starter motor. CB.5112 - Servo drive shaft. 5116 - Oil seal housing - Servo drive. 5248 - Rear vertical gearbox mounting. 5995 - Worm - Servo drive. 4324 - Worm wheel. 4047 - Arrangement of servo drive. RG.{Mr Rowledge} 174 - Gearbox torque reaction arm. 445 - Clutch case. 478 - Flywheel ring. 760 - Spigot piece to mate with propellor shaft. 1913 - (Sheets 1 & 2) - Gearbox Arrangements. Also a tracing of the rear end of the crank shaft. Endwise location of the engine and gearbox is obtained by means of the tie rod underneath the gearbox. It will therefore be necessary to arrange for a facing on the underside of the transmitter to take a bracket for this rod. We shall look forward to meeting you at Southport when you have had time to digest the drawings and have possibly produced a preliminary layout of the transmitter for the Bentley. Yours faithfully, | ||
