Mr.Horton,
Messrs. Richard Klinger Ltd.,
"Klingerit Works",
Sidcup,
KENT.

For the attention of Mr.Horton.

Dear Sirs,

We have received 6 Klingerit cylinder head gaskets, 2 marked A, 2 marked B and 2 marked C.

Actually in our letter Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Swdl.{Len H. Swindell}8/MH.{M. Huckerby}11.2.38 we ordered 1 dozen gaskets to Ew.1014 .010 thick and altered this verbally during discussion with Mr.Soukup and yourself to 1/32".

We presume that the dozen we ordered are to follow and that the 6 samples you have sent are extra to the dozen and are not chargeable.

Will you please confirm this, also whether the faces of the head and block are to be smeared with oil on all the A, B and C gaskets as discussed.

Yours faithfully,

for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
