SUBJECT

Dear Sirs,

For the attention of Mr. West.

Further to your letter of 18th inst., and our telephone conversation to-day, as mentioned, the writer has been expecting by every mail some information from our Factory, but so far has nothing definite to report.

Apparently our Managing Director, Mr. W.O. Kennington, wrote on the 6th inst., to your Mr. Rowledge in connection with this matter and has not yet had any reply. As Mr. Kennington is sailing for America on Saturday next, we do not think it advisable to send a Cable, as he would be there in a week's time and could personally get in touch with the right parties on the other side.

Please let us know if it is still your desire for us to cable, or whether you will leave it in the hands of our Mr. Kennington to deal with immediately on his arrival in the States.

Yours faithfully,

B R Rushton
Technical Manager.
