2nd December, 1936.

Messrs. Dunlop Rubber Co.,Ltd.,
Fort Dunlop,
Erdington,
BIRMINGHAM.

For the attention of Mr. A.{Mr Adams} Healey.

Dear Sirs,

Sales are complaining that the latest silent tread type tyres, as supplied for our 25/30, become noisy after a considerable period of use. I have asked them to despatch a pair of these tyres to you, together with the mileage, and when they have arrived and you have had an opportunity of examining them, should be glad if we could meet and discuss if there is anything more we can do to improve matters.

The Phantom III is in a slightly better position than the 25/30, because we have inserted rubber at various points on the chassis to keep down tyre noise. We are not proposing to make such modifications to the existing 25/30.

Yours faithfully,

For ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
