We should like to get this car in the Shop to examine certain parts for standardisation. Will you therefore please dismantle:- 1. Engine - We should like figures of bore, ring and piston wear. Please also strip the ignition governor and water pump. 2. Clutch - Measure wear of facings. Measure wear of cover in neighbourhood of driving lugs. 3. Brakes - Rear brake adjuster N.Sch.4772, G.56903. G.80960. 4. Suspension - Front springs and their lubrication pipes. Front roll rod. Front axle control bushes in Eatonia. Front spring rear anchorage. 5. Steering - Malleable iron steering box. 6. Servo - Dismantle. 7. Rear Axle - Pinion Assembly. 8. Electrical - Dynamo, Speedometer, W.T. Horns and H.T. Ignition Cables. After examination will you please rebuild with the following mods:- (a) Engine parts dependent on strip examination. (b) Petrol tank with side filler. (c) Lubrication of rear brakes GL.{G. Linnett}854. (d) Pilot bearing standard in place of LJ.25.Z. (e) Front axle controls RR.Sch.1019. (f) Air conditioning scheme using Tropic-Aire car heater. continued | ||
