STANDARDISATION of CHASSIS PARTS.

Description of Parts.
NEW POSITION OF COIL - HIGH TENSION WIRES - BALLAST RESISTANCE.

Origin.
To obtain a more accessible position.

Experimental Test Report.
The new position of coil enables the cover to be removed from the valve rockers more easily.
We consider it is a neat-er arrangement.
With regard to temperature - the coil in the new position does not make any noticeable difference.

Road Test Report.
With Bakelite material for coil cases, we had failures when the coil was in this new position - if we retain the Stabalite cases, it is quite satisfactory.
Run 6420 miles on 7-G-11.
" 3150 " " 3-G-11.
We recommend this new position.
