The rear floor seemed recessed into broad shallow wells 1¾" deep, but I am told that that is not really so, and that the raised part forming a rail to step over when entering, and giving at present a step up of 15¾" from ground, will be removed, thus giving a flat floor, except for tunnel, 14¼" above ground. That should give a very satisfactory entrance. If then a front seat is used of a type which gives ample room beneath for the feet of those sitting behind, as is done in the Jaguar 3½ litre Saloon; then we shall not need to raise the height of car beyond present height, in fact Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} hopes to reduce overall height to 62½" from ground, which is only ¾" more than present Saloon Trials Car E-2-MR, and would be about ¾" less than B.III car tried today. Front seats of the type in question are being obtained for an experimental car. They are of tubular construction, but, I am told, have a normal appearance. Att: Sg{Arthur F.
