R.R. 235a (150 H) (W. W. 276. 12-5-14) G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} 0547. X484 X 1327. Extract from Mr Ionides' letter of 25.2.14 in X.948. "I suspect inertia of the torque tube of causing some vibration. Would it be possible to suspend the ball on a support having 2 or 3" vertical spring ? Ofcourse the car would have to be towed during the test. "Or if this is impractical, as I fear it must be, is there any way of securing the axle in its place and removing the torque tube altogether ? "I think the point of some importance because if we can once eliminate shocks we can determine the importance of each factor with some approach to certainty." 1804 MADE AT CHORLEY | ||
