TO BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} FROM DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} ORIGINAL DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}3/M6.7.23. C. to Cd. WOR.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} C. to HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} GOSHAWK 11. STEERING. X4263 X205 We are not sure that we like the keys in the ball end on the pendulum lever shewn on F.51238. and originally instructed on our N. scheme, and we should like to try an alternative method of stopping the ball end from turning. We shew this on N.scheme 1432. and should like you to make an experimental piece of this for trial. We should also be glad if you would let us have your comments on the question of cost. We realise that it will be more costly than Wood-ruff, but possibly not much more so. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
