Messrs Park Ward & Co. Ltd.,
473, High Road,
Willesden, N.W.10.

Attention of Mr. C. Ward.

Dear Sirs,

We confirm that Messrs Robotham and Evernden hope to call at your works on Friday next about midday.

They will be able to settle the finishing instructions for Ripplet and will bring with them the patterns which you sent to Derby.

If time permits we shall choose a suitable blue Rexine and have a leather made to match. We wish to order this in any case and to use it if it is available in time. If that is not the case we agree to use the maroon leather in stock.

In view of the purchasing difficulties we suggest that might wish to chose certain patterns of Rexine and have hides produced to match. This material would be put in stock for use on the Expl. Cars which are down for construction in the near future.

We were sorry to hear that you do not like the first effort at the use of Rexine, and hope that we may be able to inspect the car when we call. If the result is not up to the standard of the Rover we suggest that it is vital that we should have another trial on Ripplet, even modifying the method of trimming if such a step would improve the result.

Yours faithfully,

Chassis Design Office.
