Dear Sirs, Re: Bosch Super Energy Coil TH We beg to refer to your letter of the 24th ultimo for which we thank you. Kindly excuse the delay in replying to your letter due to the fact that we had first to draw an internal wiring diagram of the above mentioned coil. We enclose herewith a blue print of the Super Energy Coil, from which you will note that this coil is provided with 4 terminals namely terminal 15, terminal 1, terminal 4 and terminal 16. Terminal 15 is the normal feed connection to the main primary winding. Terminal 1 is connected to the contact breaker in the distributor. Terminal 4 is high tension lead from coil to distributor Terminal 16 is the feed connection to the auxiliary winding which is connected in parallel to the main primary winding during starting. Due to the increased amperage which flows in the auxiliary and the main primary winding a greatly increased flux is generated resulting in a big spark of 14 m/m length. | ||
