This is the best Wraith I have so far tried.
The comments I have to make on it are as follows:-

(1) At low speeds under torque re-action conditions a considerable amount of vibration is felt on the steering column which rather spoils the excellent impression of the engine mounting.

(2) Either the battery is down or there is thick oil in the engine. On two occasions the starter failed to turn the engine sufficiently fast from cold to effect a start.

(3) The pedals still move about and spoil the impression of excellent suspension which the car otherwise gives.

(4) One could not notice the fact that one had no front roll rod on the car. There did not appear to be a great amount of over-steering.

(5) The speedometer drive is very noisy.

(6) On a quiet car like this it is noticeable how noisy the front suspension becomes when the control lever is put over to the hard position.

(7) The engine is so smooth at all other speeds that the overrun between 30 and 40 m.p.h. becomes noticeable. When we have reached the point where the many outstanding items on the car have been cleared up it will be well to see if the increased inertia of the flywheel will reduce this period.

(8) The brakes are entirely free from squeaks.

(9) The side shaft of the gearbox is not as good as other Wraith gearboxes which we have tried.
