Other work carried out in the garage
was -

(1) The fitting of a stand tube breather to the float chamber, replacing the pipe to the air silencer.

(2) All petrol filters cleaned. Engine oil metal filter cleaned.

(3) All sparking plugs removed, examined and re-set to .020". The gaps had increased in size but no misfire had been experienced.

(4) The offside wing lamp was made O.K., the wiring having broken in the junction box.

(5) The propellor shaft was rebalanced but is not good enough.

(6) A new petrol gauge has been fitted. Line now O.K.

(7) New bijur plugs had to be fitted to the front ends of the rear springs to cure squeaks, no oil getting through.

On Tuesday we went to Boulogne to meet Hancock; Wednesday from Boulogne to Paris; Thursday Paris to Chateauroux.
