could also do it, providing they obtained the same equipment which would be necessary in any case even if we did the job. As I stated over the telephone, however, if you feel that you would prefer us to do the job, you should approach us in the manner you suggested.

If I personally can be of any further assistance I shall of course be only too pleased.

One point crossed my mind whilst examining your drawing, which has actually nothing to do with the subject matter of this letter which is, how do you actually propose to finish the teeth on the particular gear in question after hardening? It is of course obvious that grinding, which I understand is your usual method of finish, is in this case out of the question.
