-3- to end of the power unit, naturally we cannot do this without feeling the torsional vibrations of the engine. I cannot write more at the moment but my mind is quite clear that if you want perfection of chassis without vibrations Hispano, Bentley, and none of us know how to do it, but we may remove some of the causes and also get a slightly better compromise of mounting. Our policy for future work can wait until my return home about 14 to 20th. of April. Mr. Elloit knows my views and we must realize that it is little use our making anything however cheap unless it is better than our competitors because they can always beat us in price for the same thing and also if we were only slightly superior we should have many friends who would think we were even inferior because they expect much from us and can and will give us a better price for a car answering the same description and of this we must take advantage to maintain our good name. If you don't want quality you don't want me. R.R. have not the reputation for any other virtue. R.{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
