Analysis of parts broken in the Bumping tests.

J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} 3. 6. 14.

R.{Sir Henry Royce} I attach herewith an analysis showing the
Na.{Mr Nadin} length of life of a large number of parts that
Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} have been broken on the bumping tests.
By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} I have compiled these lists from particulars
contained in the reports that have been issued
by Messrs. Hives and Haldenby.

I propose, in the course of a day or so, to
forward a list grouping together the average lives
of the parts to show at a glance which are the
weakest parts of the car.
