Dear Sirs,

Your Ref: B1/MSD & B.1/ENG.

Thank you for your letter of the 22nd inst.

We much regret that we did not let you know that Mr. Coverley had cancelled his sailing on the 'Berengaria' and will now leave with me on board the 'Brittanic' on the 30th inst.

We thank you for the preparations you made in the matter, and regret any inconvenience which may have been incurred.

We note from your letter of the 22nd inst. that your Mr. Jones has written to the New York Co. on the question of oil for hypoid gears, and hope that we shall be able to discuss the matter during our visit to our mutual advantage.

Yours faithfully,

For ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
