The 3-speed and over-drive P.III gearbox is now ready to fit to a car. We anticipate that to get a proper figure of merit for this modification, the box will have to remain on the car for several weeks to be tested under a large variety of conditions. At the moment, we have such a large programme of experimental work on P.III that we cannot release a car for this job without holding up, what we consider to be, more important work. We should, therefore, like to know whether 34-EX could be utilised for this job, or not ? Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
