Dear Sirs,

Regarding your letter of July 28th, ref. Wd{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}/AW14/W28724, referring to the delivery of 8 Covers, Tubes and wire wheels, Balloon 34 x 7.30, together with two covers and tubes without wheels. These are forwarded to you free of charge for the purpose of carrying out your proposed 10,000 miles test in France.

The first letter from you on this subject was May 19th, ref. Roy{Sir Henry Royce}5/MG19.5.24. It was replied to by the Development Dept. on May 23rd, and in this letter he promised to send them on.

As we desired that all the wheels you used for this test should be of our latest type, we got from you five old wheels which we altered and have supplied three new wheels.

We regarded your orders 30821 and 30822 as merely confirmatory of the arrangements outlined in our letter of May 23rd.

We trust this makes the matter clear to you but if there is any further information you want, please do not hesitate to advise us.
