Dear Sirs,
We beg to confirm telephone conversation of this morning, to the effect that we have returned to you to-day, per passenger train, the petrol tank with the unit in the altered position, as shown on your drawing L.F.1220.
We have fitted a three connection unit in this tank, with a suggested cover enclosing the three pipes, for your remarks.
We fear that it is not possible to make a very sightly job of this cover, owing to the necessity for leaving the pipes sufficiently spread to enable them to be handled easily.
However, no doubt you will let us know in due course what you think of this arrangement.
