X.9230 X8230 X.9070 X8070 We send you herewith drawings Nos. LeC.1872 and 1873 shewing the above. You will notice that we are using bolted joints instead of union joints for the exhaust pipes. For the sake of simplicity the heat jacket on the induction bend is now provided with a central single feed. Any other arrangement with the double exhaust and jacket becomes complicated. The boilers have therefore been cancelled but the petrol drains have been retained. Further drawings will follow dealing with the lower portion of the exhaust pipes and the silencer.
