When mounting several of our Wraith bodies we were able to clean up the finish to the dash board carpet by altering the position of the scuttle drain pipe. Instead of the water being drained downwards and carried across the dash by a large unsightly rubber pipe which usually finishes up at the top of the floor boards, we altered the drain outlet in the tray, bringing the drain out sideways, the rubber pipe was taken across the dashboard and down the nearside of the scuttle, behind the trimming. In doing this the pipe is completely out of sight from driver and passenger, and is adventageous where heators or wireless are fitted to the dash board. The efficiency of the draining is unquestionable, we tried the draining effect by filling the tray with running water. BENTLEY III. The central opening device for the windscreen has not a sufficiently wide base to prevent the screen fluttering at both sides. We should be grateful if you would mention this to Park Wards, they may have additional supporting brackets. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies} | ||
