WINDSCREEN WIPERS. 4175

We believe you mentioned the American Bosch as being a possible electric wiper. We listened to one of these on the stand of Shaw & Kilburn at the Show, and it seemed quite reasonably quiet under those conditions. Probably one would get a different impression on an actual car, but it seemed to be worth while trying.

We also listened to the mechanically driven Smith wiper. This seemed to be still more silent than the Bosch electric one.

We have also seen a Peerless wiper. As we saw it one required to press a push button each time to make it work - that is to say - it was merely an electrical transmission. If there is a model which works automatically we think this would also be worth trying, as the sample we listened to was extremely quiet.
