| STANDARDISATION of CHASSIS PARTS. COMPLETED / 12.3.26 Description of Parts: MODIFIED POSITION OF ACCELERATOR PEDALS FOR 'B' 'C' & 'D' STEERING. Origin: To make more comfortable to operate. Date: 19.2.26 X No. 8470 Drawing No. Part List Experimental Test Report: The present position of accelerator pedals has been criticised. Several cars have had wood blocks bolted to accelerator to improve comfort. The new positions are more comfortable. Road Test Report: 'D' type is fitted to 7-EX car at Le CanadelHenry Royce's French residence - and 98-NK car at Derby. 'C' type is fitted to 11-EX. 'B' type is fitted to 8-EX. These positions have been tried by CWB. on behalf of Sales. [Options] A Scrap and replace at all costs, including Chassis already delivered to customers. B Scrap and replace on Chassis in works.
