X.3014 G Extract from MINUTES OF CONFERENCE OF JUNE 13th 1921. X.1402. X.4374. Mr. Breeden further stated that, inspired by the requirements of R.R., they have been experimenting for some time on voltage control of dynamos and at the moment they believe they have attained a sufficient measure of success to give them hope for the future, but their experiments are as yet incomplete and the apparatus not thoroughly tested out. The apparatus is already fitted to a car on the road and in principle it embodies features which they have not yet seen in any other form of voltage regulator, principles which they believe are very desirable. X.3014b. X.4352. After consultation, it was mutually agreed between the representatives of the Lucas Elect. Co. and R.R. that it is possible to come to an arrangement whereby those dynamos which we have in stock should be altered to the new pattern 1" longer, many of the parts being identical. With regard to the cost, there will not be any difficulty in arriving at a just arrangement between the parties and as regards delivery, it is expected that modified dynamos could be delivered to us 5 weeks after their return to the Lucas Elect. Co., but this is entirely dependent on the strike of Miners and the settlement of pending Engineers' Trouble. MADE AT CROXLEY | ||
