We send you herewith LeCs. 2974/75/76., dealing with the above.
To overcome the trouble of the driver omitting to use his extra oil when the control is not coupled to the starter carburetter R.{Sir Henry Royce} has agreed to the automatic system shown in which the extra oil is always on when the engine is cold, and is shut off when the oil has warmed up.
The automatic valve is operated by a group of pressure capsules in the relief valve unit.
These capsules have very little to do and the same fluid as used in the radiator shutter bellows will probably be satisfactory.
