Pb. C. c. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} ----- +7280 BY/C.M16/G.28.1.30. With reference to PH/2/FR/19.12.29, a special point is made in our instruction books in connection with the proper use of the starting carburetter, but the matter was very carefully considered some time ago owing to the seriousness of the trouble which occurs, and it has already been decided to try out something on the lines suggested i.e. to cause lubricating oil to be forced into the cylinders every time the starting carburetter is put into use. This modification will no doubt be introduced on production immediately it has been thoroughly tested out. BY/Cgh.{W Clough} | ||
