West, Esq., Messrs. Rolls-Royce, Ltd., DERBY. Dear Mr. West, Thanks for yours of the 7th instant. I put a call through to you to-day but found you were in London so I spoke to Mr. Elliott and in view of all sorts of various circumstances, I have decided to be in Derby this Thursday, the 12th, and I shall get there some time during the morning, before lunch and if you are free I would very much like to lunch with you. I may not get through everything that day and if not, I propose to stay the night and go back at lunch time on Friday. Mr. Elliott thought it practically certain that if you were not there on the Thursday you would be on the Friday and therefore I should be certain of seeing you. Yours sincerely, G R N Minchin P.S.
