x219 To Lp.{Mr Lappin} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}16/KW.15.4.35. High Compression Cylinder Head - Bentley. Some controversy has arisen as to the increase in maximum speed, if any, to be obtained from the high compression head. You are perhaps on the track more often than anyone, and could therefore get the best average figure. If you could make a point of getting lap speeds for your car on, say, a couple of days when you are at Hawkers, it will establish an average, and we will then fit a high compression cylinder head and you can repeat the results, so getting us a mean figure. There is no doubt that the lap speed on the track does vary from day to day. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
