| X223. To BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from E/JNR.{Charles L. Jenner} E/JNR.{Charles L. Jenner}1/HP.20.3.33. c. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} re Bensport Series 1. We send you herewith: LeC.3415 Rear Silencer Exhaust Tail Pipe. This is an alternative design to our usual swan neck, the pipe running under the axle. We have assumed at the moment that the rebound of the axle is 4.5", which makes a simple pipe. Should it be found that the rebound is more, the pipe from the rear silencer will have to come away at an angle. This will reduce the ground clearance. E/JNR.{Charles L. Jenner} | ||
