RATIONALISED PROGRAMMES.

Referring to Rm. {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 13/R.9.3.39. we have endeavoured to say to whom the designs have been allocated, and when they may be finished.

We suggest that it is rather early to give precise dates on every point, as policy is not yet finally settled in some cases, and we are not yet clear of work which must be finished, so that cars now ordered may be completed.
