EXPLOSIONS IN EXHAUST ETC.

You will remember I promised to write and ask Messrs. Packard Motor Co., for some information regarding their cars, following on your recent test of the Packard Eight. I have now received the attached reply from Mr. Vincent, dealing with these points.

I do not quite understand the sentence "I wish to advise that our throttle is slightly cracked" which is exactly as written, but it is apparently in reply to my comment that one cannot completely shut the throttle on the Packard. Perhaps "Cracked" is an American expression.
