Att'n. Mr. A.F.Martindale

Dear Mr. Martindale:

Thank you for your letter of November 17th, which is in reply to ours of October 8th, concerning the samples of our molded brake lining pieces D.35.I.H. which were sent to you for test purposes.

We are pleased to note that the preliminary tests on this material has turned out to your entire satisfaction and that you intend to give the samples a more thorough test in the near future.

We shall look forward to receipt of your initial order covering an additional quantity of sample pieces for further tests. We have taken particular note that the sample order will not have to be drilled and upon receipt of this order we shall immediately manufacture the material exactly in accordance with the previous lot.

We also want to assure you that we are in a better position at the present time to manufacture these pieces by hand and we should be able to give you prompt delivery.

Upon receipt of your order we shall write you further. Assuring you of our cooperation, we are

Faithfully yours,
