For the attention of Mr. Horton. Dear Sirs, We thank you for your letters of the 14th. and 16th. inst. and your consideration in reducing the cylinder head gasket cutter from £7 to £3.10.0d. in the event of the gaskets continuing satisfactorily and we adopt for production. The quotation, we note for the actual gasket cost to Ew.1014, 1/32 thick is 1/9d. per gasket, and presume that for quantities your previous quotations hold good, i.e. 200 - 1s. 9d. 500 - 1s. 8 1/2d. 1,000 - 1s. 8d. 5,000 - 1s. 6d. Up to the moment we have not received the 12 head gaskets EW.1014, but assume that in accordance with your letter, we shall be getting them in the course of the next day or so. Enclosed herewith is the detail drawing of the rocker cover joint E.87580 and as previously arranged would like you to send us 12 sample jointings in your Klinger Black material, 1/32 thickness.
