to turn the engine relatively fast when starting cold, in order to get a satisfactory start.

The results we have obtained with this motor also indicate a very useful field for investigation on our other two motors, i.e. - J.III, and 40/50 - either of which do not turn the engine as fast as we should like. We hope, therefore, to improve the performance of these two motors by experiments on the lines of those conducted on the Peregrine motor.
