X/960. To PN.{Mr Northey} From Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} c. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} c. WOr.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} c. CX.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson}4/KT.25.5.33. CONTINENTAL TRIALS CARS. 20-MY & 2-MY. -------- With reference to PN.{Mr Northey}6/WT24.5.33. From our records these cars are fitted with ribbed brake drums. There is no objection therefore, to them having the increased front braking. The modification consists of replacing the lever E.77674, 1.730" cts.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation}, by lever G.80175, 2.187" cts.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation} The lever is on the equaliser shaft of the front brakes. The change-over could be carried out in a day. We do not want cars without ribbed drums to be fitted with increased front braking. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} | ||
