TECALEMIT Continuation Sheet No. 1. Messrs. Rolls Royce Ltd. 6th March.1939. Feed Lines. From our experience, we would recommend that each point be fed from one pumping unit, and the terminal fitting suitable for this arrangement is either 7918 Elbow Check Valve or 7916 Straight Check Valve. In those cases where it is difficult to arrange for a single unit to be connected to each point, i.e., where up to two points per line become necessary, we would recommend the use of a terminal fitting our part number 7547 Elbow or 7546 Straight, calibration No. 3, together with Tee fitting 7548. We also enclose a schedule of Flexible Couplings, our number 6082 from which can be extracted the various dimensions and part numbers. Pump Drive Details. Our Drawing No.25160 illustrates various arrangements of drive for the six-way Oscillating Pump, together with dimensional details of the drive spindles. Our standard form of half coupling for connecting the drive spindles either internal or external is shown in Drawing No.25158/9. We trust that it will be possible for you to examine the whole of these details and in anticipation of receiving your further advice, we are holding in abeyance the material for which you asked in your letter of the 18th February. Awaiting the pleasure of your reply, and assuring you of our desire to assist you in every way, We are, Yours faithfully, TECALEMIT LIMITED [Signature: Norman H Hill] ENGINE & VEHICLE EQUIPMENT DEPT. | ||
