"The General Motors Proving Grounds do not hold back any information regarding their findings on their tests and are willing to open their books and give you all the information they have after their tests to show where the car could be improved. I think it would be a very good idea if we would take our experimental car up there and go through some of the tests with their research men, using their special instruments.
"The General Motors Proving Grounds run about five-hundred thousand miles per month, twenty-four hours per day, with the different cars they have in their possession."

"The Proving Grounds consist of a three mile concrete track and three miles of hills from five to twenty-four precent grades. The will run is gravel and very rough in places, They also have a straightway concrete track which is 2.2 miles."

This is the first time that one of our cars has been placed on the General Motors Proving Ground and with the exception of riding quality, the officials there appear to have been astonished at the results.

They particularly mentioned the silence of the gearbox and the absence of "tramping" or any sign of high speed wobble at any road speed.

With regard to riding quality, it may be mentioned that this car is fitted with hydraulic dempers in front and Hartfords at the rear.

Yours very truly,

Maurice Olley
