We beg to acknowledge receipt of your letter of the 2nd inst., and note your request to send sample Smith dials as recently submitted to Major Cox at Conduit St.{Capt. P. R. Strong}
Our Works are entirely closed this week and we are afraid we will not be able to despatch these dials until nearly next week. We will, however, urge the matter as much as possible.
