Messrs Rolls Royce Limited,
DERBY.

For the attention of W.A. Robotham Esq.,

Dear Sirs,

As promised during our visit on Tuesday last, we are sending per passenger train to-day, four 7.00/18 Fort R '90' tyres with the shoulder studs joined up.

Two of these tyres, marked 'A', have a connecting bar about half the width of the stud and the other two, marked 'B', have a connecting bar about 1/8" wider.

As we have not made a mould to produce these tyres they obviously look not so good as a properly moulded article would.

We shall be very pleased to hear the results of the tests on these as soon as you have carried them out.

Yours faithfully,
FOR THE DUNLOP RUBBER CO. LIMITED.

L.J. Lambourn
Product Design Division.
