COPY. To Na.{Mr Nadin} from R.{Sir Henry Royce} Copy to Pd. Copy to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} R7/P. 24.11.13. na{Mr Nadin} replied to this (handwritten) X421 (handwritten) With reference to the increased weight of the chassis I shall be glad to know if the Dunlop wheels to our drawings are any heavier than the Rudge-Whitworth ones ? I also want to know if the Rudge-Whitworth wheels of the present type still creep about on the hubs as they were doing on the last car I saw, which was shown me by Mr Platford in London this spring. R.{Sir Henry Royce} The Dunlop wheels here on 2301 remain quite tight yet are quick and convenient to change. | ||
