" With the exception of No.2 the final output of each of these machines is Direct Current, and the actual revs are indicated by applying this current to any form of standard Moving Coil Voltmeter mounted remote from the Generator. As No. 2 Generator gives the alternating current a Moving Coil Voltmeter fitted with Rectifier attachment is required; these Indicators are then calibrated in r.p.m. As there is such a variety of Instruments which can be used as Indicators we shall be glad of your suggestions as to which would be more suitable - either the small flush or projecting type instruments approx. 2½" dia, or possibly 6", 8" or 12" Sector pattern, or Edgewise type Instruments.
