CONFIDENTIAL.

For the attention of S.H.Grylls, Esq.

19th January, 1939.

Dear Sirs,

Confirming telephone conversation this morning in connection with the tyres supplied for the high speed test on the Continent, as requested we are sending over four 6.50-16 covers and tubes, via Lep Transport, by tonight's 'plane leaving Croydon at 7-o-clock.

We are cabling Mr. Bleator advising him that the tyres will be dealt with in the same way as the last consignment.

We suggest that the pressures used in the speed attempt in the 6.50 tyres, which we understand are to be fitted to the rear, should be 45 lbs/sq. inch, and we are assuming that the maximum speed will not be in excess of 120 miles per hour.

Yours faithfully,
For DUNLOP RUBBER CO., LTD.

Manager,
Car Manfrs. Division.
