Visit of Draper and FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies} to Park Wards.

1. The Ripplet mock-up is ready waiting for the Radiator, we are waiting for the shell. the Matrix is in the stores.

2. 9.B.V. Instructions were given to fix the bonnet sides, and remake the top panels using stiffening pieces, it was found impossible to lower the body, but when the bonnet hinge is straightened and the fit improved, the appearance should be acceptable.

Instructions were also given to improve the appearance of the scuttle rail heater ducts, and also to fit drain tubes in the screen rail. The experimental door lock will be fitted and 3 of the improved overall door locks.

3. Mr.Ward is busy with the Coupe Scuttle experiments and will notify us when he is ready for us to test.

4. Ripplet boot lid.{A. J. Lidsey}, this was weighed minus the interior number plate, trimming, and paint and found to be 31 lbs, this will no doubt increase to 40 lbs. by the time it is completed.

Working on these figures the weight would be 5.2 lbs per sq.ft.

It was pointed out to Mr.Ward that it was still too heavy and that we should like to try some light steel framing instead of wood, and also a lighter type of boot lock.

5. B.V. Body Costs.

Mr.Ward shewed us sheets of figures which were complete, he was only waiting for Motor Panels Ltd. apparently Mr. Green was aksed to see M.P.L. on the 22nd of Dec. but Mr.Ward has not received a reply to date.
