X 3117 W/S - Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies} c. to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies}2/KW.18.4.34. D.W.S. JACKS. With reference to the points raised in your memo. Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}2/KW.16.3.34. we have had a talk with D.W. Sessions and mentioned the criticisms raised by Sales. His reply was to the effect that there is no immediate prospect of reducing the friction in the present Jacks. With regard to the question of ladies using these Jacks, the physical effort to raise the jack is no more than the effort required to lift the spare wheel from the bracket and to change the same. This we could only agree was a fair comparison. With regard to the set of Jackall Jacks at present being fitted at Derby to 20-EX, we are held up at the moment due to the flexible rubber pipes bursting at the nipples.
