TESTS OF 18-G4. IN FRANCE.

This car has now completed its mileage in France and is ready for sales to try if they wish to do so.

Actually, we do not see that it would be very helpful because the production cars of this type are now being produced.

We suggest that the car comes back and we leave it in London two or three days for any one to try.

The important features on this car are :-

New type shock absorbers.
Front axle control.
Air silencer to carburetter.
Silent second speed.

The only feature which has given trouble in France is oil leaks from the shock absorbers. From the last reports we have now overcome this fault. Confirmatory tests are now being carried out on experimental Bentley cars which are using the same shock absorbers.

We should like to have your instructions as soon as possible whether you wish us to bring the car back from France.

Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}
